Grand Marshal of Edo APC - I will remove Oyegun from Office by June


Reliable intel available indicate that the former governor of Edo State and leader of the All Progressives Party in Edo State, Mallam Adamu Oshiomhole, has boasted to his cronies that he has the wherewithal and have set aside half a billion naira to orchestrate the disgrace or removal from office of national chairman of the APC and first executive governor of Edo State, Chief John Odigie Oyegun.

Our sources revealed that Oshiomhole  boasted to his inner caucus at a recent meeting which held inside his Villa at the little village of Iyamoh in Etsako.

The formerly poor textile factory employee now billionaire was quoted as saying that he had “the full support of former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar while pressing the national leader of the party, Asiwaju Bola  Tinibu to get fully involved.”

Estranged Assistant National Publicity Secretary of the APC, Mr Timi  George, is said to be among those coordinating the plot to sack or disgrace Oyegun. Others are some non-principal officers of the party from the  South-East and South-West  zones.

The plan, it was gathered, would be hatched in May 2017 and will see Oyegun being removed from office either in May ir June 2017, to pave way for the unhindered advancement of Oshiomhole who would then stand on the premise “that Edo has nothing left in the scheme of things, Ehanire is only a deputy Minister.”

Edo State Chairman of the APC, Mr Anselm Ojezua, and the State Secretary, Chief Osaro Idah, are said to be key collaborators in the plot to remove Oyegun.

According to our impeccable source, Mallam Oshiomhole was able to enlist the support of Ojezua, Idah and Idahosa by telling them that he and Atiku has a plot to succeed Buhari in 2019. He told his innef circle that Alhaji Atiku Abubakar has tipped him as running mate to oust President Buhari at the APC primaries where Atiku and Tinubu plot to pull the APC party rug from under the feet of President Buhari to fly the APC party flag in 2019.

He was said to have also informed them of alleged plans by the Deputy Senate President, Senator Ike Ekwenremadu, to join the APC once he, Oshiomhole, becomes national chairman.

He said he was the one dissuading his group from using what he described as “subtle violence” against Oyegun to push their way through as he feared that such might go out of hands, especially that the Benins might take offence and it will boomerang.

Our source said that Oshiomhole warned those close to his successor, Governor Obaseki, not to leak the plot to him. According to our source, Obaseki is not privy to the thickening plot.
