The national working committee (NWC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has suspended governor of Ogun state Ibikunle Amosu and governor of Imo state Rochas Okorocha over anti-party activities. The NWC also recommended the expulsion of the governors from the party to the national executive committee (NEC) of APC, after a meeting on Friday in Abuja. Amosun and Okorocha have openly backed gubernatorial candidates different from APC’s candidate in their respective states.
