The last has not been heard on the matter of the purported suspension and threatened deposing of the Onojie of Uromi by the APC government of Edo State as all Uromi sons and daughters across the world have been invited to Uromi to discuss the way forward and appropriately respond to Oshiomhole, Obaseki and the APC desecration of the Uromi traditional institution.

The emergency meeting is scheduled to hold at Uromi town hall on 29th of October 2016 at 10.00am.

Many observers predict that the series if events that would follow the meeting may precipitate a state of emergency or at least lead to a curfew in the district.

Many leaders of thoughts across the state and also the national leadership of the APC have been mounting pressures on the outgoing governor to respect the sanctity of the traditional institution and hands off the Uromi debacle but all entreaties have fallen on deaf ears.

The proposed meeting was also informed by facts have emerged on who Ms Betty Okoebor, APC Woman Leader Esan North East LGA, the woman behind the brewing crisis in Uromi.

The revelations is that Ms Betty Okoebor is an unmarried lady from the Okoebor family of Uromi and aunt to Oshiomhole’s alleged concubine in Uromi.

She is also alleged to be herself a former concubine of a former governor in Kwara State.

She is the APC Woman Leader for Esan North East LGA which has Uromi as capital.

Ms Okoebor is alleged to have left Uromi in desperation  for Ilorin many years ago in search for better life.

She was fortunate or unfortunate to meet a then governor in Kwara state (names withheld) who started a relationship with her and kept her as a concubine.

The relationship allegedly lasted for 18 months and she was allegedly dumped by the State governor.

Things sent progressively bad for her afterwards as she was not able to maintain her expensive lifestyle that had been started as a result of being His Excellency’s bed warmer.

Ms Okoebor allegedly then migrated to Lagos to seek for a better life.

Shortly after moving to Lagos, Ms Okoebor allegedly learned that His Excellency in Edo state was having something with his brother’s daughter,  his niece. This was however when His Excellency was a bachelor and free to roam.

Our source, a member of the Okoebor family who pleads anonymity, added that Ms Betty Okoebor herself allegedly snatched him from her niece and tried to take over the slot. This has led to a family feud ever since.
