Oshiomole has no moral and political credentials to become Edo State APC sole Leader - Blessing Agbomhere APC Strongman



A former APC governorship and House of Representatives aspirant, Blessing Agbomhere has lashed ou on the immediate past governor of Edo state, Adams Oshiomhole over the leadership tussle in APC, Edo state chapter.

Agbomhere said the ex-governor does not have the educational, moral and political credentials to become Edo State APC sole Leader, as the state chapter of the party cannot be run like a one-man business.

He said Edo APC is not bereaved of true and patriotic leaders. Where the party has Prince Tony Momoh, a former Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and former Chairman of the defunct Congress for Progressive Change (CPC) and Chief John Oyegun, no sane man will leave these learned, erudite and accomplished leaders and fathers with their intellectual, mental and moral sagacity to choose Adams Oshiomhole as Edo State APC leader.

In his words; “Oshiomhole is not and cannot be Edo State APC leader. I admonish all the members of Edo APC to disregard the rumor.

“Who was the leader of Edo APC when Adams Oshiomhole was Governor of Edo State? It is double standard for any APC member to call Oshiomhole the leader of Edo APC when the same man fought Chief Tony Anenih because he was called the leader when Lucky Igbinedion was Governor of Edo State.

“If there must be any State leader of APC, it has to be the Governor of the State, and Adams Oshiomhole is no longer the Governor and as such he is not the leader.

“Godwin Obaseki is the Governor and the Leader of Edo APC.”

It seems the Dele Giwa murder is one of those historical events that will forever live in the legend of conspiracy theory. Gloria Okon, or Chinyere as she been claimed to be, is a different case. Ms Betty Okoebor Defies Oshiomhole, begs Onojie of Uromi - Says It is a sacrilege for me to demand or receive apology from my King

A mild drama has started in Edo State as Ms Betty Okoebor, the woman in the middle of the crisis between Onojie of Uromi and outgoing Edo State governor,  Adams Oshiomhole, has said that she did not request for any apology and does not seek any apology from the Onojie of Uromi. In a personally signed letter to the Edo State governor, a copy of which was made available to Urhokpota Reporters, Ms Okoebor said she has since reconciled with the Onojie and she does not require the governor to humiliate the Onojie of Uromi on her behalf. “Your Excellency” the letter of Okoebor reads, “note that as a loyal daughter of the Throne of the Onojie of Uromi, it will be sacrilegious for me to demand or receive apology from His Majesty, under any circumstances. Rather the custom of our people behoves on me to reconcile myself with the Throne.
