Wife to the APC national leader and Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu has allegedly declined to help Oshiomhole appeal to her husband to help Oshiomhole manipulate the Edo 2016 gubernatorial election to his favour.

“It is too late to help you. Why did you let Ize-Iyamu leave our party? Obaseki is not a match for him. We have analyzed the election and come to the unfortunate decision that we have to brace up to accept the likelihood of APC losing Edo state for now” Mrs Tinubu allegedly told Oshiomhole at a caucus meeting held at Abuja recently.

Mrs Tinubu lamented that it was too late to offer any meaningful help. She said her husband and the vice president have accepted the likelihood that the Edo 2016 election will go to the PDP because the APC candidate, Mr Obaseki, is a hard sell.

In another development, the Vice President, Prof Yemi Osinbajo, has declined to help the outgoing governor of Edo state to reach out to the General Overseer (GO) of Redeemed Christian Church, Pastor Enoch Adeboye.

Adams Oshiomole had beg vice president and Senator Oluremi Tinubu to help him talk to the G.O. of RCCG, the Christian Association of Nigeria, the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, and others concerning the election to direct members to vote for APC.

The vice president was reported to have told Adams Oshoimole that the leadership in RCCG called him for a meeting and warned  him to distance himself from Adams Oshiomole. They told him that POI is the next governor of Edo state. One of the A.G.O.s was reported to have said that the PDP candidate, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu, is a big pastor in RCCG, and as such he must win. Mimiko of Ondo state and Akinwumi of Lagos are equally members in the RCCG.

Ms Betty Okoebor Defies Oshiomhole, begs Onojie of Uromi - Says It is a sacrilege for me to demand or receive apology from my King

A mild drama has started in Edo State as Ms Betty Okoebor, the woman in the middle of the crisis between Onojie of Uromi and outgoing Edo State governor,  Adams Oshiomhole, has said that she did not request for any apology and does not seek any apology from the Onojie of Uromi. In a personally signed letter to the Edo State governor, a copy of which was made available to Urhokpota Reporters, Ms Okoebor said she has since reconciled with the Onojie and she does not require the governor to humiliate the Onojie of Uromi on her behalf. “Your Excellency” the letter of Okoebor reads, “note that as a loyal daughter of the Throne of the Onojie of Uromi, it will be sacrilegious for me to demand or receive apology from His Majesty, under any circumstances.
