PDP Mobilization Youth Committee Hit Owan West - Youths Decry Oshiomoles Deception

The youth enlightenment and voters education in Edo state by the PDP Youth Mobilization committee took it's message to Uzzeba in Owan West LGA with the chairman of the committee Hon. Daniel Asekhame and a PDP stalwart Alhaji Tanko addressing the youths.

The youths decried the antics of the Oshiomole government in the Local government which has not seen nor felt government presence in the local government for the past 8 years. They complained bitterly about the deception of the APC led government especially what they called "the stunt" pulled by Oshiomole on Okpuje Road. The road which was ironical developed by the same Hon. Daniel Asekhame 9 years ago when he was the local government chairman of Owan West LGA, has seen better days and was in a much dilapidated state by the time of the last APC primaries. A few days prior to the primaries they said, the Oshiomole government brought in bulldozers and road graders and declared that the construction of the road had been commissioned for 9 billion Naira only to withdraw all the construction equipment and disappear from the local government a week after the primaries not to be heard from again.

Hon. Asekhame told the youths to be patient and calmly vote out the deceitful government of the Oshiomole led APC, that the road will be a priority as demonstrated by Pastor Ize-Iyamus gesture of paying the One Hundred and Fifty Thousand Naira for the grading of the Okpuje Road to serve as a temporary measure to ameliorate the suffering of the people. He also admonished the youths to be of the very best behavior through out the elections but to guard their votes jealously.

It seems the Dele Giwa murder is one of those historical events that will forever live in the legend of conspiracy theory. Gloria Okon, or Chinyere as she been claimed to be, is a different case. Ms Betty Okoebor Defies Oshiomhole, begs Onojie of Uromi - Says It is a sacrilege for me to demand or receive apology from my King

A mild drama has started in Edo State as Ms Betty Okoebor, the woman in the middle of the crisis between Onojie of Uromi and outgoing Edo State governor,  Adams Oshiomhole, has said that she did not request for any apology and does not seek any apology from the Onojie of Uromi. In a personally signed letter to the Edo State governor, a copy of which was made available to Urhokpota Reporters, Ms Okoebor said she has since reconciled with the Onojie and she does not require the governor to humiliate the Onojie of Uromi on her behalf. “Your Excellency” the letter of Okoebor reads, “note that as a loyal daughter of the Throne of the Onojie of Uromi, it will be sacrilegious for me to demand or receive apology from His Majesty, under any circumstances. Rather the custom of our people behoves on me to reconcile myself with the Throne.
