Ukpilla Explodes for Ize-Iyamu

The Okuokpelagbe of Okpella, Alh. Dr. Dirisu, called on all sides to the campaign to eschew violence and embrace peace. He assured the PDP that their candidate was well loved by the Okpella people and that he is like a son of the soil.





Addressing the full palace chiefs of Okpella kingdom, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu pledged to meet the yearnings and aspiration of the people when elected. Specifically he pledged to revive the ailing industries in the locality, attract hospital to the community, fix their roads and support them to prosper.




The secretary of the Okpella traditional council who read the communiqué of the Council stated that they are proud that Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu already highlighted their problems in his SIMPLE agenda but added that they would like the ‘”incoming government” of PDP to solve the boundary dispute they have with Kogi state.

At the rally square, several hundred people waited enthusiastically for nearly five hours chanting solidarity songs. Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu promised to develop Okpella and the people pledged to give the PDP a hundred percent of their votes on September 10. They vow to chase the APC out of their town through their PVC.
