Our Strange Political Times: Oshiomole Summons Headmistress Over PDP Use Of Primary Schools Field

The headmistress of Okpujie Primary School, the venue of the PDP senatorial flag off at Uromi, Mrs Agbai is on the verge of loosing her job. She has received a Query letter from Adams Oshiomhole and has been invited to Benin to come and answer questions as to why her school was used for the PDP rally.

You would recall that Okpujie Primary School was the venue where PDP held their Edo Central Senatorial flag-off last Saturday which was adjudged to be the most successful rally ever in Edo Central.


Reports indicate that Mrs Agbai has been issued a query by the Governor and summoned to come and defend herself in a panel in Benin for giving our Adams Oshiomhole’s school (not government school) to PDP for their flag-off.

She arrived Benin Tuesday to defend herself.

A civil society activist berated Oshiomhole’s dictatorial tendencies and said he would have ruled the State under the military rule and not as a civilian rule as his utterances and actions are anti democracy.

“We have also heard about Mrs Agbai summon by the comrade and it is shocking to hear such summon under a civilian rule. Comrade Oshiomhole does not own any State property and has no right to determine who uses it and who doesn’t. I believe he should have become a governor under a military rule because this era doesn’t suit him”

It seems the Dele Giwa murder is one of those historical events that will forever live in the legend of conspiracy theory. Gloria Okon, or Chinyere as she been claimed to be, is a different case. Ms Betty Okoebor Defies Oshiomhole, begs Onojie of Uromi - Says It is a sacrilege for me to demand or receive apology from my King

A mild drama has started in Edo State as Ms Betty Okoebor, the woman in the middle of the crisis between Onojie of Uromi and outgoing Edo State governor,  Adams Oshiomhole, has said that she did not request for any apology and does not seek any apology from the Onojie of Uromi. In a personally signed letter to the Edo State governor, a copy of which was made available to Urhokpota Reporters, Ms Okoebor said she has since reconciled with the Onojie and she does not require the governor to humiliate the Onojie of Uromi on her behalf. “Your Excellency” the letter of Okoebor reads, “note that as a loyal daughter of the Throne of the Onojie of Uromi, it will be sacrilegious for me to demand or receive apology from His Majesty, under any circumstances. Rather the custom of our people behoves on me to reconcile myself with the Throne.
