My dear Brother & Pastor,

Golden age is a significant milestone in a man's life. It's not only a moment to cast an introspective look at feats already attained with pride but more importantly to look forward with confidence to the challenges ahead.

As you cross the golden rubicon today, it surely calls for a song and dance. For yours has been exemplary life devoted to service. Politics should be a call to duty. In you is a perfect illustration. What I find even more remarkable is that added to your political gravitas is the evangelical presence of a truly anointed servant of God.

As Mahatma Ghandi told us, politics is a social sin. When it mattered most, you showed character by refusing to surrender to the tyranny of an unscrupulous godfather. When it mattered most perilous, you demonstrated uncommon courage by standing up to be counted on the side of liberty.

YOU TOOK THE LEAP OF FAITH TO FOUND THE GRACE GROUP WHICH IN TURN PROVIDED THE RALLYING POINT FOR OTHERS WHO BELIEVE IN FREEDOM TO BIRTH WHAT WOULD BECOME THE EDO CHAPTER OF ACN. WHEN OTHERS DESPAIRED, YOU SAW HOPE. I SALUTE YOUR FORESIGHT. IF ACN IS TODAY FORMIDABLE IN EDO, IT IS ONLY A REFLECTION OF THE STERLING LEADERSHIP YOU HAVE PROVIDED.

Again, if our party is acclaimed in positive lights in Edo today! You share substantially in the glory. IF WE HAVE IMPROVED THE HUMAN CONDITIONS, WE OWE IT PARTLY TO THE QUALITY OF COUNSEL YOU GIVE. In our struggle to redefine politics in Edo in the past forty-four months as service to the people, I have found in you a committed ally indeed.

Having distinguished yourself in administration, evangelism, politics and lately farming, I believe your sun has only just begun to rise.

On this joyous occasion of your attaining the Golden age. I, on behalf of the government and the good people of Edo state wish you happy birthday and many happy returns of the day, in good health, prosperity and above all service to mankind.

Gloria Okon: Will we ever know the true story?*

It seems the Dele Giwa murder is one of those historical events that will forever live in the legend of conspiracy theory. Gloria Okon, or Chinyere as she been claimed to be, is a different case. Given what we know, her story seems to be one that could be solved. Ms Betty Okoebor Defies Oshiomhole, begs Onojie of Uromi - Says It is a sacrilege for me to demand or receive apology from my King

A mild drama has started in Edo State as Ms Betty Okoebor, the woman in the middle of the crisis between Onojie of Uromi and outgoing Edo State governor,  Adams Oshiomhole, has said that she did not request for any apology and does not seek any apology from the Onojie of Uromi. In a personally signed letter to the Edo State governor, a copy of which was made available to Urhokpota Reporters, Ms Okoebor said she has since reconciled with the Onojie and she does not require the governor to humiliate the Onojie of Uromi on her behalf. “Your Excellency” the letter of Okoebor reads, “note that as a loyal daughter of the Throne of the Onojie of Uromi, it will be sacrilegious for me to demand or receive apology from His Majesty, under any circumstances. Rather the custom of our people behoves on me to reconcile myself with the Throne.
